Recently, a Straits Times Forum letter by Koh Yeow Koon argued for a solution in response to a recent Premium article about why banning tuition in Singapore to curb its popularity will only make things worse. Koh believed that instead of banning tuition, primary and secondary school hours should be extended to full-day sessions, which sparked numerous debates.
